Apple Protein Donuts
1 cup all-purpose or GF flour
2 scoops Rookie vanilla protein powder
1 T Stevia in the Raw
1 1/2 t baking powder
1 t apple pie spice
1/2 t cinnamon
1/8 t salt
1/4 cup + 2T unsweetened applesauce
3 T apple butter or canned pumpkin
2 large eggs (or replace with mashed bananas)
2 T coconut oil (or butter)
1 t pure vanilla extract
1 T maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix dry ingredients, mix wet ingredients separately. Slowly stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and put into nonstick donut pan. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
