Apple Protein Donuts

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup all-purpose or GF flour
  • 2 scoops Rookie vanilla protein powder
  • 1 T Stevia in the Raw
  • 1 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1 t apple pie spice
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 1/4 cup + 2T unsweetened applesauce
  • 3 T apple butter or canned pumpkin
  • 2 large eggs (or replace with mashed bananas)
  • 2 T coconut oil (or butter)
  • 1 t pure vanilla extract
  • 1 T maple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pre-Heat Oven at 350
  2. Mix dry ingredients
  3. Mix wet ingredients separately
  4. Slowly stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
  5. Put into nonstick donut pan
  6. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
