Mom's Berry French Toast

Hi everyone! It's such a great time of year, and I'm really happy to be sharing it with all of you. We've done so many fun things together at Rookie Wellness, and I'm thankful for every day. This season is all about being cozy, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying good food.

Today, I've got a special recipe to share. It's more than just yummy food; it's about making memories and having a great time with the people you love. This recipe is perfect for the holidays, for those days when you're thinking about what you want to do next year, or just when you want something really tasty to eat.

    1. Slice bread into 3/4 inch slices (ends removed)
    2. Spread Slices Thickly with cream cheese
    3. Cut Slices into 1 1/2 inch cubes

  4. Sprinkle Bread with Brown Sugar
  5. Top with Frozen berries, Cinnamon Sugar, and finish with Diced Butter
  6. Whisk Together Eggs, Half and Half, and Vanilla
  7. Drizzle all over top of bread
(tip: press down a bit to get the egg mixture into the bread)
  8. **Bake uncovered for 30-45 Minutes - until knife comes out clean
  9. Let rest for 15 minutes
  10. Serve with sweetened sour cream (1c sour cream with 1/4 c brown sugar)

** At this point you can refrigerate or even freeze the dish. Just remember before it goes in the oven it needs to be at room temperature!

I hope you love making and eating this recipe as much as I do! It's a sweet treat that's perfect for sharing with your family and friends.
